3.4 Questions about mods

My buddy has a 3.4 and it is slow as hell. What can he do to it? ? ? ? And does not cost to much $? Is there any free mods like on the 3.8's? i am tired of kickin his @$$. Any help will be appriciated.

if its stock, form facory, under the car it wi8ll go form his y-pipe to his cat, behind the cat there is a flange clamp, has 2-3 bolts, I think 2, unhook them(hte hard part they will be rusty) then pull the catback away and to the side, it will rattle over bumps but he can at least do it for an few hours to see the difference, and to put it back to stock, just slide it back in place, and clamp it up, might be easier to get new bolts from homne depot. It think they are 1/2, just use a 1/2in. flat wrench, and a socket wrench.

With my other mods I ran consistant 15.6s with that exhasut setup. My cat finally clogged, I replaced the CAt with a $15 muffler, and ran no catback and hit my 15.4.

There are quite a few cheap mods out there like a low temp thermostat ($13.99) or a pulley set ($50) that will offer a little more power. Then there are the free mods as mentioned above.
