Hello, I've been a lurking here now for over a year, but I've never posted. Anyways, I have a 93 Firebird and since I've had the car (mom gave it to me in late 2004) the oil pressure is always pegged all the way to the right when I'm driving it. The gauge will read around 40, when the car is warm and idling. I use Pennzoil 10w-30 in the car. Car has about 125K on it. Oil level is fine according to the dipstick. Do you think it might just be a faulty gauge?
