my friend has a 1995 T/A 383 LT1 M6, with a procharger making 12 lbs of boost, he took it to the track a few days ago, and cut a 1.63 60 foot, and lost fuel pressure about 3/5 down the track in the middle of third gear, he said it just stopped acceleracting, so he let off and still ran a 11.1, he has dual walbro 340 pumps, and would it be possible that since he was running a near empty tank, the fuel sloshed away from the fuel pumps. he says he never had a prob on the street, only doing quick 1-2 gear pulls and 2-3 pulls but never stayed in it for more than 5 seconds. once he was at the track it happened, and it was fine on the way home

Re: question for a friends 560hp lt1
he has dual pumps and doesn't have a fuel cell?? most fuel cells have a foam substance in them to stop that. Even still i doubt that thats what happened...if he was going to lose power it would have been at the start where the biggest jerk is. I've had a fuel regulator go bad and cause that...I run dual dominators though...It might be different for fuel injection. Pumps can do funny things like that toobut ahving two of them i doubt that thats the problem. This is just one of those things that you have to figure out in your garage..welcome to drag racing lol...how does he know he lost fuel pressure, he have a guage inside the car for that??97 RS,3.73 LSD,Flowmaster,Shift Kit,Edge TC,HP Tuners,EWP,SLP CAI,160*,Touchscreen monitor,& Alpine Stereo(155.2dB)15.27 N/A 1.9X 60\'s and a magic switch.
