i have a 96 firebird and im only getting 18 MPG:eek: 80% high way
i just got a tune up last month. i have no mods at all. what do u think is causing this.
could be everything from needing a good tune up, dont know what you actually had done. could be wheel bearing need to be repacked, replaced. could be a worn out motor. could be anything.
it was a basic tune up. air filter, spark plugs wire, timing and what not what should be the first thing i chech and how do i tell if i need new bearings. and im sure its not a wear out motor only 50k and i dont drive the car hard at all.
so you had the plug wires replaced but not the plugs? you need to replace the fuel filter, get some top engine cleaner going, a real fuel injector and system service done, get the tires looked at for wear, get them rotated, get an alignment if needed. whats with the timing you mentioned? you had the timing adjusted? :bs:
have you cat looked at. anything that could hinder the cars rotational abilities, the fuel, air and exhaust flow can cause poor engine performance and poor fuel economy.
it cost 400 for the tune up. im not sure of every thing they did but i no they did the plugs and wires, time belt, fuel fiter, and new air filter.
im going to get the aliment done this week and i have new tires less then 2k
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
