Hey guys haven't been around in a while.... I am getting smoke real bad when I hot rod a little. couldn't tell what color cause it was dark but I saw the some in my friends headlights as I was beating him(Lancer). Anyways I have been noticing these little oil spots on the drive way and I mean little, so no serious leak. What do you guys think? no leak at filter or plug... Think this is just some normal wear and tear or even related to each other... maybe a bad bottom end gasket? p.s. I just changed my oil too

bottom end gasket = oil pan gasket?
we couldnt tell you anything till you know what color smoke

yeah the pan gasket for the spots... those were before the oil changed and I saw them the morning after I had been hot rodding.... couldn't really see oil anywere on the engine... so I changed the oil and have been checking for spots but its been raining and just tonight I saw the smoke.... Color? I know thats what I said, I couldn't see the color cause it was dark, I will check tomorrow if I see it. I can probably figure it out just thought I would ask some opinions.... typical.... white = moisture blue=oil/valvesComment

When my rear main seal went if i got on it it would spew oil out of the bad seal onto the y pipe and burn for a few minuts. If the smoke is comming from your exuhast pips then it has nothing to do with a gasket(unless its white smoke , then its your head gasket).Comment

I’m new. I actually don’t own a Camaro or firebird. I do have a 2000 Camaro 3.8 fly by throttle and 4l60e. This is installed in a 1980 Triumph TR7...2 weeks ago -
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...2 weeks ago
