I was driving back from class last night when my car started having a little kick when i would start going up hill. By the time i got home, if i tried to accerlate, it would start kicking like a i was riding a bull. can anybody tell me what is wrong.

is your SES light on? is it blinking? Sounds like a misfire from your description... Check your plugs and wires. If your SES light is on, go to Autozone and get the codes scanned.1997 Y87 Camaro with a motor and some stuff. -

What year/engine do you have.
Misfires are most commonly fixed by inspecting and replacing
Spark Plugs (Should be a light gray on the tip for a normal plug)
Spark Plug Wires (Should not be cracked or scorched)
Ignition Coils (these must be tested with a multimeter or autozone has a testing station that will test them)
Ignition Control Module (Not as common as the first three, also must be tested @ autozone on their computer)
Alternator (Will give a whine under the hood and cause a blinking dash when it is going)
Battery (Similar symptoms to alternator if it's going out)

Can you describe the problem a little more clearly
i.e. the car shakes at idle but not when gas is applied
or the engine has little power and sputters when under load
