Oil pressure gauge! + Coolant temp gauge!
Well I finally got tired of the dummy gauges on the maro so I decided to pick up a small 3 - gauge pod. It has volts, Oil pressure, and Water temp.
So I found a mounting spot I liked, inside the CD holder. And did all the wiring for the lights on the gauges and I wired up the volt gauge. I have about 3-4 feet of pressure hose and the same length for the manual temperature sending unit.
But my dilemma is I can’t find any good places to mount the sensors. I’m not sure where to tap into an oil line or something that will give an accurate reading of oil pressure and the same issue with the coolant. I’m not sure where to tap in my fittings to get a good reading of coolant temperature.
Anyone have any ideas where to hook up aftermarket manual Temp and Oil pressure gauges???
