Blew the fuse for the tail lights and for the cluster lights (speedo, tach ect) I replaced the fuse for the tail lights twice tonight and still keep blowing (yes I am putting them in right). It all started with the snow lst night and I NEED the car on the road Thursday since I do most of my driving at night.
I also noticed my hatch is not locking now (the bottom section that comes up and grabs the hatch is not moving and not frozen)
    Any ideas?

Do they just blow as soon as you put them in? Or is it when you hit the breaks? Or when you turn on the head lights, then hit the breaks? Any certain conditions like that?

Check your wires that go back to your tail lights and make sure they are not grounding out on your frame or being pinched or smashed anywhere and also check your cable that runs from the battery to the starter(starter cable). Make sure its still in good shape and not trying to weld itself to something. Good luck

Its the tail (night) runing lights (when you turn the headlights on) when I hit the brakes they come on but with my foot off the brake they are off (with the head lights on)

They blew the second I turned the car on, I could hear it ( I had my head bellow the fuse box)

Oh yeah, another thing, you said snow maybe you have a bare wire leading to the tail lights and it's getting moisture to it. Are you getting shocked when you open the door or touch any metal part of your car.

Im not getting shocked, last time I was under the car back there I saw no wires at all, I think they run under the carpet but no moisture gets back there (from inside the car) but your right, it could be a short back there, yeah that will be fun to look for out in the snow......
Now that you mentioned it this winter when it is really cold when I crank the car the started just spins, I let go of the key and do it again and it starts, could that be apart of it or just the starter going bad?

On your starter you either need to shim it or make sure the bolts are good and tight. But your problem is just like the one I had with my S-10, when me and a friend put the tranny x-member back in he didn't see the wires that lead to the tail lights and he smashed them under the crossmember. So everytime I put a fuse in it'd blow, so I crawled under it and traced the wires and found that. When I took them out and looked at them one was cut almost in two, and the others were smashed, I had to cut out the bad area and splice it all back together. Put a fuse in and was good to go. But I'd almost be willing to bet it's the wires leading to your tail lights.

Considering I just changed the tranny fluid and filter a month ago I bet your right. I did see the wire loom and watched it but maybe it got snaged or something.... this will be fun
