I recently replaced my fuel filter on my 1996 camaro, and it runs fine for a little while but then it starts bogging down. Through all the gears it feels like it just doesn't want to move and bogs down. My dad says it may be im getting too much fuel, but my auto teacher says it may be my fuel pump and its not pumping enough fuel. Anyone have any suggestions?

not familiar with the '96 models but the fuel filter typically has a flow direction associated with it. did you install in the right direction?
after that, you can just connect to the pressure port on the fuel rail and see what you are getting. your auto teacher should have a fuel pressure gage with the right fitting. i think the tech database has the correct fuel pressure readings.
if i had to guess, i would go with your auto teacher. you father sounds like he is talking about a carb. you have fuel injection. you cant (easily) get too much fuel with fuel injection. unfortunately its pretty easy to get too little fuel. bad fuel pressure regulator, bad fuel pump or clogged fuel filter.
