sounds like a miss from a bad plug wire if you have the 3.4 check the rear 2 on the passenger side very carefully

yeah if it runs well part of the time you should be ok with just plug wires

                    Re: Car Shake

switch the plugs some new ones even though its not easy if you are going to do wires go bigger like some 8mm or 8.5mm

Have you installed the new plugs yet? Let us know upon installing them if this fixes the problem.

                            Re: Car Shake

How many miles does your car have on it? Is it the 3.4 or 3.8? Manual or Automatic? If you have mentioned any of those 3 in this thread I apologize, but I only read the second page of this thread this go around.

Check your air filter, make sure it isn't dirty. Is your SES light on? It could possibly be a coil. My coils (well, it was only 1 coil) were going out on me like hot cakes at IHOP for awhile there, until I stopped buying them from Autozone and went to a GM dealership and replaced it with a GM coil.

Is your car in need of a tune up? When is the last time if ever you have seafoamed your engine? Also, when is the last time you changed your fuel filter? Possibly when you switched gas, or even before you switched, you may have gotten ahold to some bad gas and it clogged your fuel filter. Have your vehicle scanned, see if it is running lean or rich, unless you don't feel like forking out the $50 dollars or whatever it maybe to scan your vehicle these days.

Check your vacuum hoses for cracks or leaks.

Well, feedback some of that information so that I can try to better diagnose the situation.
