engine fixable?

ok like few weeks ago my 3.4 engine started ticking,stuck valve maybe? anyway I didnt drive it much only maybe once a week.then tonight I went to the store and when I was coming back from the store I tried to accelerate and something went boom and the whole car started shaking .anyway the car started smoking after I parked it and checked the oil was half or more gone.the car would start but sounds like **** and hardly can move

What's it idling at? Is it fading in and out and possibly dying if you don't give it a little gas?

Things I would think that could cause this........ EGR isn't working correctly or possibly you have damaged valve springs or the valves are sticking.

Is your SES light on? And also, is the BOOM you heard something under the hood or was it possibly the engine backfiring?

it was the engine,I still have to go under the car to check wheres the oil leaking,it does start but idles like ****,if I press some gas it hardly would pull.someone said that the engine threw a rod?

If so then you threw a rod. I sit fixable? **** I would look for a new engine from car-parts.com first and see what kinda deals you can find. The fact your oil dropped like that means a major seal was ruptured.

yup something like that,the more you would accelerate the noise would get noisier
