    when the car is running and if i turn the key again am i supposed to hear a grinding sound from my starter? i did that by accident and didnt hear it at all .
    2000 firebird w68, auto, t-tops , 3.42 , k&n, whisper lid, taylor 8mm spark plug wires , bosch spark plugs , 3\"in/out carsound CAT , 3\" i pipe, take off trans am muffler, C6 Z06 rims

    uh you spelled *stupid* wrong anyways, uh prob didn't hurt anything just don't make a habit of it.

      Yeah, you're supposed to hear it. If you don't hear it I'd be worried.

      That's you grinding the gear in your starter. Just don't do it again, it can eff up your starter or something else. lol.

      But I wouldn't be too worried if it did it like, once.

      Some cars it won't really make a grind sound, it'll make a loud SCREEEEEAAAAAAAACCCCCCHHHHHHH sound and man is it a GOD AWFUL SOUND. lol
