    I have;
    1997 Camaro 3.8
    5 Speed

Okay, so the car is getting close to 100,000 miles. I believe the plugs were changed once about 4 years ago. Im guessing its time for it again. Anyway, I am aware that plugs and wires need to be changed. What would be the best choice? I am told that AC/DELCO would be best because its original. And for wires I have no idea.

Also, is there anything else that needs done? I've heard about changing the rear differential fluid? Also, does anyone ever clean out their throttle body on these things? Or is that not a good idea?

    Heres what i would do:
    Change Spark plugs and wires
    Change PCV Valve
    Clean Throttle Body
    Change transmission fluid and filter
    Change Diff. Fluid
Change air filter if you haven't recently
Change oil which should be a given
Change coolant(I would change it to the green kind)Prestone)

My 2 sense theres probably some stuff that i am missing

      all good, I would add

      Change fuel filter
      Clean injectors
Clean MAF with electronics spray cleaner
When changing coolant, make sure to flush the system completely

Speaking of flushing the coolant system, I was curious about something, if it would be worth it, since it's already dismantled.....

Do you think if I sprayed the flush straight through at the water pump inlet hose it would work, it would be pouring out as I have the water pump off of it. Needless to say, I want to spray the flush in right where the water pump is to try and clean it up down there a little. Would it just be wise to put the radiator and everything else back in and do a pressurized flush?

Okay, I didnt even know you had to change transmission fluid on a manual. Anyway, how do you clean you're injectors?

                Re: Tune-UP

some people (including me) put either b12 or seafoam in the fuel tank and run the car...or you can take them off the car and send them to get cleaned and checked...there is a seafoam sticky and you just have to look around the yahoo or google to find some one that can service your injectors.
