I have a guy who is looking for a 4-speed auto for a 95 Z28. I know that the torque converter must be able to handle more power, but would I have anything he could use from from '95 3.4's tranny? Im looking to sell.

There are some build diferences between older V6 and V8 4l60e trans units. I believe a v6 unit had fewer vanes on the pump, smaller sprag, plastic accumulator piston, and a couple of other internal differences.2001 Kroger\'s shopping cart
MODS-
* disabled locking wheel
* used Flowmaster and some LS1 parts ... No V6 transmission will bolt up to a V8 transmission. Let's see...you could think about selling your driveshaft and rear axle, although not many want to buy 3.23 gearing w/drum brakes. You could sell your engine and transission to someone looking to do an engine swap, maybe you could convince Emmons to buy them from you. Also, sell your wheels on ebay or something, you could get a few hundred for them. Also your hood and intact-body panels may sell there. Oh, and headlights and tail lights, for replacements on ebay. If you are going to part it all out, that is.
Good luck, Becky told me you were going to test drive a Z28?2001 Black Z28 M6
Sprayed, slotted, geared and more~
