  • MSD hook up question

I searched this and all I find is troubleshooting for the wiring for the CIUs. I hooked up the bypass connector and the car runs fine. I attached the red to the battery, and the black to ground and left the blue and brown off and nothing, put the blue to ground - nothing, brown to ground - nothing, both to ground - nothing. The red light isn't on on the box - what's the problem? (I think I'm missing something really obvious that someone can pick up on).
