  • z28 brake question

My only question is, is there a difference between my stock front brakes(calipers/rotors, etc) compared to the same year Z28?

I plan on doing the rear disk swap, but I wanted to make sure my front brakes would be up to par(I decided on the LT1 swap).

If anyone knows or has suggestions, help me please!

The brakes up front are the same.
For the rear I would definately get the LT1 setup. It's cheaper, pads are cheaper, and above all is lighter than the LS1 setup.

Up front a set of stainless lines and Hawk HPS or HP Plus pads with fresh fluid and you will have a top performing brake system.
Strano hollow bars, 315\'s, S/P engine build, T2R diff, etc, etc.

Good. That should save a little money. I'll just get some decent rotors/pads when I do the swap (and other stuff as suggested). I don't need racing brakes, just good solid braking, and I think this will make that happen.

      Thanks for the info!
