my question is.........i have this pinkish wire coming out of the fuse box inside my car. i looked in my owners manual and it said it was for an after market ignition. so. is this something my car came with from the factory and does anyone else have this same wire?

There's a pink wire that comes out of fuse #9. It's got power for BCM, lights, and instrument cluster. In the owner's manual, it says it also has an "auxiliary accesory wire." That's for what you may install later, like a wideband oxygen sensor or something.

    Moving to general tech.

You'll have to upload the pic somewhere and then link to it here.

I see the spot under #9 labled IGN, but I can't find what it's for. Neither my owner's manual nor the service manual says why it's there. It shows it in the pictures, but doesn't say what it does.
