Hey guys Im wondering how hard it would be to convert my 96 taillights to the honeycomb lights from the 98 and above lights. Thanks

Actually it's the '97 and above lights ;) Sorry but I don't know the answer to your question. -
I am getting ready to tackle the same deal. So far as I have found, 93-02 lights are the same design. It seems as though there are two nylon/plastic type material bolts with like material nuts that unscrew, releasing the whole taillight housing to service bulbs, exchange, etc.
I really think that's all there is to it unless one of our friends here on the board knows of something that I missed. for camaros, yes. in '97 they switched to the new taillights... but he has a firebird. in the birds, they switched from the ugly ones i have on my car to the nicer looking honeycomb ones in '98.Originally posted by camaroincal:
