The light on the dash will pop on and sometimes it won't. I know the oil is full in the crankcase. Can someone tell me if the sensor is bad and where is it located. Also when I speed up and let off the gas the check engine light will pop on and stay on until I restart the car. I'm lost...someone please help. thanks

Re: low oil light????
sounds like maybe your throttle position sensor.
and tho i dont know the year of your car, the oil level sensor should be on the drivers side of your oil pan (halfway down on it) , very visible once you jack the car up

Originally posted by StrtRacer98If it is TPS, i believe you have to replace the whole throttle body, the sensor is built into it.

Re: low oil light????
Originally posted by AceThe TPS is on your gas pedal. And it has nothing to do with your low oil light. If you want to know why your check engine light comes on take it to autozone and have them read it with the scanner. Its free.
