2.8 stalling

my 85 2.8 mpfi automatic firebird stalls. i think its because the rpms are very low when im in gear on the break.... or just in park...it sometimes does it when im shifting into or out of reverse. what can i do? and it dose not matter how lonmg the engine has been running for

it might not be getting enough fuel. try to change fuel filter. also, clean the fuel injectors and throttle body.

no its getting enough fuel....i was thinking of the torqu converter, ill disconnect that and see if that does the trick

check for vacuum leaks. when was the last time you gave it a full $100 or so tune up?
