  • Shakes in Drive

    When the car is in drive at a stop it really shakes but when I put it in neutral its fine....I'm thinking U-joints

    how do u figure that? the car isnt movin anywhere....the u joints wouldnt have a affect on anythin unless u were movin...

        I figured it wasnt the u-joints like a second after I posted I dont know what I was thinking.

        I'll take a look at the tranny mounts

        Any other ideas??

          possibly a bent driveshaft, or the rubber balance bearing thing in the middle of the 2pc may be shot, causing the driveshaft to wobble while turning.

            its not turning...hes sittin i drive not moving...i dont think it would b the tranny mount either...i got no solution tho

                    unplug your batt for like an hour i think it is and it will relearn its idle, see if that helps

                      when my tranny mount was bad i experienced the same problem.
                      95 camaro 3.4auto, 3:23 gears, K&n intake, jet stage 1 chip, clear corners, flowmaster 80series, carsound cat,

                            Yeah, seemed to be doing better today, just need to fix my pipes from shaking then I think I'll be good. Something is rattling under the hood any idea what that may be?
