Not every time but every once in an while if I go and brake hard the car seem to pull to the left and I sorta have to fight the wheel to keep it straight. Why could this be happening?

Warped rotors, wheel balance issues, steering component issues, alignment, passenger side caliper sticking...
Reason it's doing that is uneven braking power, specifically the driver's side is too strong or the passenger side is too weak. How does the brake pedal feel when you hit it?http://www.cardomain.com/id/kefkafloyd
Red 1997 Pontiac Firebird 3.8L A4 w/ Y87

a lot of times at stoplights and such, there are grooves in the road from cars sitting there. if you hit the brakes coming up to them and are a little off the grooves, youwill get pulled into them, giving the effect of haveing weird brakes.

Now that I think of it Ian most the time it is on older busy road. With some grooves and most the time it either in Newtown or N.E.
