    trans mount

EDIT: broken trans mount... replace it with 1LE (if you can find it) or polyurethane and you will feel like you're driving an entirely new car

nah you can do it yourself... your trans mount is your transmission mount, a little piece of rubber between the transmission cross member and the actual transmission.

it's just an hour of work maybe... get a jack under the transmission so it won't fall down when you take the crossmember out. unbolt the crossmember on the two ends which connect to the unibody, then the one bolt in the middle. that's the bolt to the transmission mount.

the crossmember should drop to the ground (hopefully you held it so it doesn't fall on your face). then unbolt the two bolts that hold the mount into the transmission. slap the replacement in there in reverse order and you're done.

poly mounts require some very light modification to the x-member, but it's no big deal- you're just elongating a hole.

        search for more info. :D
