Driving down an unfamiliar road at night and a cross road was sharply crowned and unlighted, hit it at about 35-40 and front tires chirped when they came back in contact with the ground. Of course, suspension bottomed out, put some heavy gouges in the crossmember because on the other side of the intersection the road was ramped upwards. Spidered the paint on the nose, which I am surprised didn't just fall off all together. Love these Tampa roads...
What can I expect or look for to be damaged/broken.

Probably nothing more than your paint and your pride. ;)
The suspension did it's job from the sound of it. Worst case senerio, damaged/broken U-Joint, damaged pinion seal, leaky shock absorbers, bent tie rod ends, etc...
You should be okay, though. :D
P.S. Check your oilpan for any holes or leaks. Same for tranny pan if you have an auto.

Ok, the only thing I have noticed regarding the tranny is alot of windup before shifting, slippage, I guess would be more correct, oh, and the car sort of lunges forward when I start it.
Only mods to car are intake related, (free cold air, descreen maf, whipser lid, k&n, those sorts of things so its not like its a huge HP beast.)
