Okay, you can take it all out as one entire assembly:

    1) Remove the plug wires. Mark them so you know where they go
    2) Remote the 2 nuts on top of the coil-pack plate (13mm)
    3) Lift the whole assembly up so it comes off the studs, and then rotate so you can access the rear where the connection is.
    4) Use a 7mm socket (it might be 8mm, this is all by memory) to loosen the bolt holding the electrical connector in.
    5) ??????
    6) Profit!!!

    Hope that helps

idk if the wires get in the way but mine would not lift off the studs with the wires on. it would hit the cowl. i wound up taking off the individual coil packs themselves

Weird. I've pulled mine off so many times that I could do it by feel before I relocated them.

It involves wrenches and small arms. I found the best way was to break the bolts loose from under the car. I'll admit, it took me a whole lotta effort and a whole lot of penetrating lube, but I got em off eventually the first time.

well, luckily for him hes talking the driver's side. there are two nuts holding the passenger side bracket to the back of the engine . you have to find a long open ended wrench, and go crazy on it. i actually got the wrench on there, put a pipe over the end for leverage, and used a bottle jack to push the wrench up till the nut came free. the nut closer to the engine is on much tighter than the one holding the transmission dipstick tube on.

oh i had to take the pass side off as well haha.

I got under the car and was able to get the bolts off after a long struggle.

                      i took this picture afterwards
