if its number 2. then what is pic 1? i took the thing off on pic 1...and it has a spring in it and just a little oil on the spring. am i suppose to clean the oil off or anything? i'm assuming its the pic 2. since that looks like what the "pvc valve" on autozone.com looks like.
my car is a 98 firebird 3.8. i cant find anything that looks like pic 2.
how come the pvc valve that autozone sells for a 98 firebird looks like pic 2? that thing in pic 1 isn't even removable is it? just a spring comes out of it.
Its the one in the first pic, the second pic is the pcv on a LT1 by the looks of it. And the pcv is under the spring if i remember correctly long time since i changed mine.
when i tryed to do mine . i couldnt get the damn thing out . it just moved up and down. and it wouldnt come out even after putting carb cleaner on it to soak in. is it supposed to be free moving spring loaded. and if it is i gota pull that mofo out in spring?
