  • Anyone ever had to replace a headlight assembly?

Has anyone replaced a headlight assembly in an early 4th gen Firebird/Formula/TA? If so, did it look the same as the original? The assemblies in my ‘93 were replaced due to an accident and the new motors are tilted about 120 degrees forward -- they now point more toward the front of the car, rather than upward. The shop is telling me that there was a "design change" and that they can’t physically install the motors any other way. Based on the rest of their work, I believe they just don’t want to re-do the repair. What do you guys think?

That’s not the issue -- they’ve already been replaced courtesy of someone’s insurance. Unfortunately, what the body shop put in doesn’t look the same as what came out. I’m just looking for some verification one way or the other. Was there a "design change" or is this place just BSing me?
