  • VIN/DOOR CODES?

I just got done running the door code #s' on my car. The good news is I have GU5= 3:23 gears,
G80= LSD Posi, and Y87= PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT - 3800GT PACKAGE.

The bad news is I have a few codes not listed. They are R7N, T78, 6PT, 7PT, 8TF, and 9TF.

My question is: Could the Y87 be the missing codes?

    I think that 6PT, 7PT, 8TF, and 9TF may be springs?

These codes are also on the door tag: 2FS87, BB/CC, U352E, 14B.
I have made a lot of money in my life, most of which I spent on cars and women.<p>The rest I have blown.

The VIN decoding and RPO codes are in the Technical Database.

Uh yeah?that's where I got the information I have.

The point of the post was the missing codes; they are not listed in the Tech Base (that I could find).

      I was wondering what the R7N, T78, 6PT, 7PT, 8TF, and 9TF, are?

Could these be part of the performance enhancement package?

Did you read the link in my previous post? If you had you would have read that the last four listed are the RPO codes for the V6 STOCK springs.

Y87 is the ONLY RPO code for performance (see the Tech Database for specifics).

T78 is a RPO code for headlights, R7N is not listed in my GM manual. You can go to a dealer and get a printout of what all the codes are.
