So today while at my mechanics shop I was talking to him about possibly doing a swap from my 3.4 to a nice 5.7 350 small block. Turns out he has an older chevy truck with a 5.7 350 motor in it that has been babied. He was fixing it up after he bought it to make some quick cash and it didn't have the title after the deal was made! long story short the truck isn't worth the cash to fix the mess and he offered the whole thing for 500 bucks shipped to my house. Now, I'm assuming this 350 would fit in my camaro no problem, but is there any differences between it coming from a truck rather than a car? Anything I should worry about? Other than the other obvious upgrades to fit the v8? Any info is great Thanks!

Re: 3.4 to 5.7 swap
a 350 is a 350, same block for cars/trucks (assuming this is a gen1)
personally i wouldnt put a truck engine in there, they have horrible flow and are made for torque, unless you want to change the heads/cam
