            possibly the crank positioning sensor.

That's one of the last things I would accuse....

Much more likely starter, or the electrical connections to it.

that would create a misfire code rather than prevent the car from starting, wouldn't it?

                  Re: Help Please!!!

Last time I had a no start turned out to be loose battery terminal. Based on you swapping the battery, that's doubtfully it, but I'd check the wiring from the battery to the starter for signs of wear or a short (volt meter might help there if you can find someone with one, or spare the $20 or so).

I agree with xracer - specially if you got a starter from Autozone or some place like that (happened to a buddy). Have you checked all the fuses? My other hunch would be a bum ignition switch.

Is that under the hood or in the car in the side of the driver dash

                          Re: Help Please!!!

well i just went outside and did the little light test and I didn't get any negative results....So in the morning ima get under the car and start tesin those wires. As long as I have the key turned all the way forward in the crank position then whatever power is getting to the starter will get there right?

Make sure you check the connections at the battery terminals for ANY kind of corrosion. My stock battery leaked acid out of the positive terminal corroded the cable somewhat. Even with new batteries I was having this problem until I got the terminal on the battery cable cleaned up really good. Put some dielectric grease on the terminals too, to prevent corrosion.
