I need some new spark plug wires, i have an 00 bird.... do i need the straight sleeve ones? I looked in there today and i notice also a metal sleeve? I was going to order 90* boots but i was told they wont fit...

But im getting pacesetter headers and i kno some ppl had problems with wires touching and getting hot, so what would be the best application to go with?

    Re: Plug wires

My 90 degree MSD wires work great on my 98 Camaro.
With stock headers, I've ran about 2000 miles on them, no problems so far.

Yea, but i was told that it wont work with my 00', well thats what im told. The plug end is too small and needs the straight shield.......

        Re: Plug wires

your are correct by sticking with your straight boots on your stock headers car. your 2000+ vehicle does come with straight boots so buy wires with straight boots. try to get stockers from gmpartsdirect.com or some quality brand from your local parts store. save the metal heat shields and try to get wires with ends that the shields will fit on.
