    okay have a 94 camaro and it has the stock moldings on the doors, fenders, and part of the quater panel whats is the best way to remove those without the clear coming off.. also i am worried that there will be damage undernieth the molds from ppl hitting it with there doors... okay and last question is my turn signal swith broke i think, when i make a left hand turn the signal dosent click off after the turn.. i have an entire assambly off of my parts car how hard is this to change??? my uncle said to just change the spring can that be done?

    Fishing line or floss tied to a couple of pencils or dowel rods (for handles)..... just get the line/floss under the edge of the molding and move back and forth in a sawing motion under the molding. This will cut through the adhesive and seperate the molding from the car. Then just use some adhesive remover like "Goo Gone" or "Bug and Tar" to get the glue off of the paint. The clear coat **shouldn't** be harmed in the process, since the coating should have been done to the body of the car before the molding was put on it.
    There used to be a writeup on this somewhere......

    You're on your own with the turn signal switch. I don't know. Hopefully somebody else can chime in on that, or correct me on the molding. You might want to invest in a Haynes or Chilton's manual for the car if you plan to keep it a while. They come in very handy.
