  • LIGHT PROBLEM

I was wondering if anybody could help me with this problem.
Every time I drive with my headlights on they flicker or dim for about 1 second they do this when i press the brake pedal. the instrument panel does the same thing.

I have the same prob with mine. The dealership told me it was nothing....but I'm going to bench test my alternator as well. Let me know if you change the alternator and if that helped.

Mine has done that since the day I brought it home brand new. It appears to be a common problem. The dealer replaced the alternator, but it still does it. Other threads on here have suggested hi-amp alternators and heavier gauge wire at the alternator, battery and ground to alleviate the problem. Someday when my alternator dies I'm going to try it. Until then, I'll just suffer with it. It doesn't seem to hurt anything...I hope.
