I've searched all over the forum and can't find a solution to this problem, like it says, the temp gauge stays on zero and the fans are always on, anyone know how to fix this? Only code its throwing is low coolent level, but I've filled it completely up and it still does it, also replaced the coolent temperature sensor and that did nothing, any ideas would be great!

Re: Temp Gauge Not Working, Fans Always On
I would check fan relays, maybe the relay is bad and stuck on.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

Re: Temp Gauge Not Working, Fans Always On
I think it's the coolant temp sensor. I wonder if there are two of them. My older cars had one for the PCM and one for the temp gauge/idiot light. The fans are on because the PCM does not know what the temp is, and therefore has the fans on to save the car from overheating.2002 Silver Firebird A4
T-Tops, Leather, Y87, W68, Chrome Wheels
Bone Stock
