sigh....
Lt1s have a serious problem with the fuel gauges. they are typically off by a little to,like mine, about a quarter tank off. make sure it has gas in it.
can you hear the fuel pump priming when you turn the key? go to autozone and get a fuel pressure gauge(like 15bucks at the most) and hook it up to the fuel rail. i cant remember the exact psi but it should be around 40psi or so.
im telling you right now, stop trying to start it. i did that and now im paying out the a$$ for it becuase i didnt know any better. i fouled out 3 injectors by sucking up dirt deposits from the bottom of the tank and had to get them replaced and have the fuel lines pulled out and blown out.
if its the fuel pump it will cost around 220 for a stocker. and its a bytch to get to(dropping suspension, exhaust, and fueltank)
check these things out and let me know what you got going on. ill try and help as much as i can.
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it
