any good tips, pics, guides to doing this, because i've tried searching and there are no how-to's that i have found. any tips or suggestions are helpful i.e. socket sizes and such

did you look on camaroz28.com?
to make the job easy you need a jointed shallow socket in the size of the bolts...other then that it is easy. If you don't use the socket as you start to back out the bolt you will hit the intake and it get tough.
