the car had a misfire in cylinder 1 so i changed the plugs and wires. car ran fine after that for about one or two weeks now today it started misfiring again. any ideas? oh one of the wires had the silicone melted off and the braided? wire was exposed could this be it?

did the wire touch the hot header and melt? that can happen in seconds
