• FPSS question

I did a search and didn't find the answer to my question. If you bounce off the rev limiter while spraying, will you still be fuked if you have a FPSS???

Thanks

i am not sure the only thing i know for sure is that anytime the fuel pressure drops below what ever psi it is set at then it cuts the power to the nitrous i may be sounding like captin obvious here but just trying to help

I have done this before.
I have a fpss
I floored it one night, left it in drive, juiced it, hit the rev limiter.
What happens isnitrous is sprayed
Rev limiter kicks in
Fuel is cut off
Nitrous is still spraying
FPSS then kicks in and cuts the nitrous off.
I think for a split second fuel is cut off and then nitrous is cut off.
I really wouldn't know cause it happens too fast

so it didn't hurt anything when you hit the limiter. I am thinking it will be a lot easier to hit the limiter with a manual, especially if you lose traction. :(

Use a window switch for a manual. Set it to cut the nitrous before you hit your rev limiter, like at 5700 or 5800.

Here's another good one though... what happens when you hit your governor?? In 4th gear my governor is still in the window switch's range...

to run a window switch don't you have to get msdis-4 329$ to run a 70$ window switch. I am thinking about just using my horn button so I can spray while watching the rpms at the same time. I was wondering if you could use a shift light as a window switch somehow?? Probably not but I just thought I would ask :D

I'll be running my window switch without an MSD ignition. We'll see how it works.

Just don't hit the speed limiter.
Try not to hit the rev limiter.
Did it damage my motor? I dunno but it is blown now :(
