cause you have a wet kit. i have the same kit as you. gm 20920. our intkae manifolds are not designed for wet kits. extra fuel puddles in there and then it ingites and come out the intake. what rpm's were you hitting it at..

mike why do you say that about the intake manifold? Slacker69 says he's been running a wet shot for a WHILE in his '00 f-body and it runs fine.

I have a wet 100 shot and i spray out of the hole at the track. I never get a backfire. I always prep i rev engine before spraying and make sure all fuel is cleared out of the way. I have had 2 backfires both were after i did alot of spraying and then tried to spray out of the hole one with a 50 did nothing just a boom and i had to put intake back on the second was with a 100 i cracked my airbox apart.

it's wise to spray when your over 3000 rpm's. if i'm going to spray out of the hole i rev it like hell to clear all the extra fuel that might be in the intake manifold..

Yes, our intake manifolds are not meant to have fuel in them.
High rpm's like 3000 and above can kind of limit backfires.
You really shouldn't be having that many backfires.
                  Something might be wrong.
Check to see if both solenoids are firing at the same time, unscrew them from their mounting location and check
