• MSD window switch converted to 2cyl still doesn't work

I got to test out the window switch on Friday in Orlando. On my first pass I ran a 16.2 @ 84!! Also had a nice backfire at the 60'. Obviously the fuel solenoid opened and the nitrous solenoids didn't. I figured it was the window switch that wasn't working. I had my ohm meter at the track (always prepared) so I tested the ground from the window switch. With the 3000 module in, the wire would ground when the rpm hit 3000rpm, but as soon as it passed 3000 it would lose the ground. On the way back down, it would ground again right at 3000 then drop. Will be calling MSD tomorrow.

You did have a pill for the top RPM right?

Also, you should have both N2O and Fuel solenoids on the switch so one cant open without the other.

Yeah, I had the top pill in also, but the switch should work reguardless. Without the top pill the unit just won't turn off at the given rpm.

I have my system set up to spray the fuel first, and if that doesn't happen then the nitrous solenoids don't open. While I can set it up on the same ground (the window switch was actually providing a ground for both of the FPSS's) it would take some extra wiring that I'm just too lazy to do right now. I'll get to it one day soon.
