• Hypertech Advance Timing?

I have a 1995 Firebird 3.4L and I programmed it with my hypertech programmer. I am aware that any advance in timing is bad for nitrous and i thought i read somewhere that hypertech does just that. I have plans for the Noszle and I am laying everything out right now and i came across this problem.

Well, remove the hypertech :D
And don't bother with the NOSzles, just get a cheaper direct port system.

Getting a direct port system would be cheaper in the short run. But he can't take it with him when it's time to trade in this car.
If I understand correctly, the NOSzle is a bolt on direct port, so he'd be able to just remove it and put it on another car or sell it, right?

Just remove the direct port system and replace the upper intake manifold with one from a junk yard.
Noszles in my opinion, but I completely understand your reasoning

That would only work if his next car is also a V6 F-Body. Of course, he could still sell it, there are bound to be plenty of people on this site and others who would snap it up. But if he wants direct port on his next car, he'd have to start from scratch.
Speaking of which...you are putting direct port on the Crispy Bird, right? What's involved with doing it the manual way, just drilling holes in the manifold?

I know it would be cheaper to go with a regular direct port but like someone mentioned its a lot easier to install and uninstall the Noszle system than a normal direct port. i guess my thinking is if I cn spend $2000 on rims and tires why not go the Noszle route I mean in the end with bottle accessories and suck i might have $1700 in the system. Plus i would be able say yeah ive got direct port nitrous with the NOSZLE. so does anyone actually know if hypertech advances timing. I will uninstall it anyway but just curious now.

But you could just bend in new lines? Quite easy in my opinion.
Crispy Bird??
 It is not crispy anymore
Al it is is drilling holes in the correct place in the manifold and bending the lines to make them fit

Again, I'm not a fan of NOSzles.
If a free kit was offered I would decline it.
hypertech advances timing, call to confirm it.

12secondv6, you know alot more about nitrous than me so i am interested in knowing why you would decline this product if given to you. Do think that its not as good performance wise or not safe. From what Ive read a 100 shot in the noszle will produce the same gains as 100 shot of direct port. I could be wrong but again thats why i want your input. I know I want direct port because it is safer than a dry and more effective than a wet. I guess i am wanting your input on this.

It requires the fuel injector to supply the fuel.
Injector locks and boom :(
True direct port systems have dedicated fuel lines for much safer useage
