ok...heres my info...I have a 1993 3.4l firebird with ~156,000 miles on it...car runs great..no problems in anyway...I was just wondering if any of you guys out their have put nitrous on your car with such high milage....just wondering how some peoples cars turned on in quarter mile time and/or if they blew their motor....I was planing on doing a 50 shot(if that works ok..maybe going to 75...maybe) wet system...the car has a brand new fuel pump in it(about 2 months old)...and a flowmaster catback and a jet stage 2 chip....I kown I will have to remove the chip becuase it adv.'s timing...I'm hoping to get a 1/4 time in the 14's...

I blew the motor with a 85 shot and it only had 62k miles. Others have been more lucky.

its a gamble I guess I would maybe try 50 :D

I concure!!!(catch me if you can). My car had about 104000 and I blew a motor with the 85 dry shot, I'm not sure if it is luck or what but some people use nitrous to death and get away with it and some people don't. It sure is fun though I don't think you'll find and arguement against that.

I started juicing around 35,000 to 40,000 miles.
I destroyed one engine at 75-80000 miles due to MY fauly of poor tuning.

I replaced it with a junkyard engine w/ 80,000+ unknown miles.
So far everything is good

New fuel pump is a good thing to have

Good to see that you already knwo that the jet chip needs to be removed.

If it runs fine, then go for it, start small.

Nitrous is not safe, things can break, VERY quickly
