Gauges and what not

I'm going to start squeezing this month probably with a nitrous works kit and am wondering what type of gauges to get. I think I've decided on a Fuel Pressure and an a/f gauge. Can I buy a mechanical fuel pressure gauge and connect an isolator setup to it. The isolator setup is like $105 from summit i think. Or should i just get an electrical gauge. As far as the a/f gauge goes, is the nordskog any good (reliability is really what i mean) or should i get an autometer. I searched and found that I need to buy some other thing to go with it but i forgot what, can anyone help. I don't think i have an o2 sensor by the cat (as i've heard mention of something like that) so where should i hook the a/f gauge up to? The more you guys can help on this the better suited i can be once i start my journey into the "wonderful world of n2o". Thanx for your guys' input in advance.

I jus ored a 1.5" autometer fuel pressure gauge for about $35 and the BSS line was $45 it will fir perfict under the hood. jus a cheeper alternative.

So, you will have a guage under the hood with pressurized fuel in it?

My suggestion:
Autometer fuel psi guage electric
Autometer fuel psi sender unit
Sender unit under the hood
Guage in front of driver's view

Thanks for the info, but i already read those threads. That's how i found out about the extra o2 sensor by the cat (i think that's what it said). I need the dual pod pillar. It has the 2 1/16" gauge cutouts. I'm trying to find the cheapest electrical fuel pressure gauge made by autometer and a relatively cheap a/f gauge. What comes with the fuel pressure gauge. Do i need to buy any fittings to make things work? Do I have to buy the extra thing with the Nordskog a/f gauge? Is it a good gauge?

Yes I will have a gauge with pressure in it under the hood. Is it a bad idea?


If your going to have the fuel pressure gauge in the passenger compartment you will need a isolator and stainless steel braded line to hook it up.

Go with autometer electric fuel psi guage.
Get the fuel pressure sender unit.
You would need a female to female connection.
I do not know the size of the fitting required for the stock fuel rail, you would have to just go with trial and error or measure it

Guage under the hood is a bad idea, personally
