Thinking about doing this...

    http://www.fbodycentral.com/forum/sh...threadid=20561

what would i need as far as setup, to not f*** anything up? I want the car to run strong and i don't wanna blow anything.

As of right now the car is bone stock, with a k&n and custom air flow mods.

Best time bone stock 15.1 @ 91, what could i expect from this set up.

Any help is good, send donations to me also. LOL j/k

here is a post that i gave to a guy recently who basically asked the same thing ...

well actually you have a very nice setup to run nitrous on..the high flow intake and exhaust will give you some good benefits..and the 3.42 LSD is an extra kick in the pants..you'll want to re-gap those NGK plugs at .035 ..and replace your MAF sensor..once those are done..i would recommend NOS kit# 5175..its a basic dry nitrous kit..it comes with a fuel pressure safety switch that senses if the fuel pressure is too low and shuts the nitrous off..it also comes with a WOT (wide open throttle) switch..this activates the nitrous system ONLY at WOT (which is the only time you want it activated)..i would also suggest an upgraded fuel pump..such as the walbro 255 intank or the MSD inline external electric pump..and maybe a window switch..which allows the nitrous to only be active during a certain rpm range..the car itself is ready..but you need to be also..READ up and RESEARCH nitrous and its use..not only for the safety of your engine..but to also get its full potential..knowledge on this subject will get you higher yet safer power..i cannot stress that enough..hope that helps

..i have been running this kit on my car for several years without any problem except burning up a few spark plugs..thats where the aftermarket pump REALLY helped..havent had trouble with plugs since i got it..i'll soon be moving to direct port..if you'd like you can check out my setup at AIS or see pics on my web page

First jess....... could you handle blowing your engine/ tranny/ rear?

      I always ask everyone this.

2nd, I get very nervous about used kits..... also this kit has been used on 2 cars....

I am just not a fan of used.

Let me know about 1st question
