I just got my wet kit and I was wondering if it would be pushing it to much to do a 100 shot. 50 was working just fine with no problems, 75 was shooting great with out any problems. Whats the max I can do before any more upgrades are needed?? I have the following
Catback exhaust(flowmaster)
low temp thermo
shift kit
K and N aircharger kit.
I can also change the rev limiter and shift speed changes with my programmer, would you recommend doing that??
Why hop up a V6, cuz $724 a month for insurance is a little steep.
you might be alright with the 100 shot, but I would upgrade your fuel pump then you would be fine. As for the rev limiter, you might want to change that back to stock if your valvetrain hasn't been upgraded.
Good deal I havent ever messed with the rev limiter so Im gonna keep the stock settings and will be looking for a window switch here soon. How do window switches work since my cars an auto and shouldnt be hitting the rev limiter???

you don't have a window switch you one or your goint to blow your engine.
i wouldn't go to a 100 shot untill you get a new fuel system, and you need to check out everything to make sure your not running lean or rich where your at now.
it looked like i was running alsome with my 75 and 100 shot, then i found out i was running lean as hell and i could have blown up the engine easy, i'm lucky i didn't.
plus you should look into tuning. i was only get like 70 hp out of my 100 shot before tuning. so it's something to looking to.
Dyno or Wideband. If you have the hypertech, make SURE your timing is NOT Advanced! Use premium fuel also.

Im not using the engine tuning to advance the timing, I previously was but took it off to install my kit. Im running 93 octane.
Are there any little tips I can use to check the possibility of running lean or rich. Such as high temp or something else. A dyno is out of the question for me.

check your spark plugs..if you're running rich they will be a little blackish from carbon deposits..you may also be able to see this in your exhaust tips..if you're running lean you'll have melted electrodes or little metal speckles in the white part of the plug..those would be pieces of your pistons..you may need to use a magnifying glass to see them..theres more to it..examining the plugs can tell you a lot..they are your eyes into the cylinders..make sure you have good nitrous plugs too..NGK TR6s gapped at .035
93 octane should be fine for a 75 shot..i would definitely recommend and upgraded pump before going any higher than a 75..and id keep the stock timing and limiters for now
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
