I had ask this maybe three months ago. Here is the current information about a little over a month ago i purchased some pistons and rods. the ratio size is 10:3.1 someone mentioned it to me that i should upgrade the internals. if i want to use a 100 shot would i need to change the internals. here is a list of my mods

stage 3 abbott racing heads/upper and lower p&p manifold
    abbott racing cam
    forged pistons/rods
    headers
    borla cat back
    whisper lid and ram air
    wet nitrous system
    window switch
    3.73 gear ratio
    lsd

Neither of those posts makes any sense to me.
Try to be a little more clear about what is going on here.

I would of had the rods and pistons put in when you did your heads and cam would of been alot cheaper. I'll say you should be able to start with a 75 or 100 shot to start. but i'm no expert i just started using a dry nitrous kit. also I would break your motor in about 500 miles or so, I think thats what I did when mine was built a couple of years ago. good luck

i know but my plan wasn't to get pistons nor rods at the time...until i blew out one of my pistons. so i was force to purchase them...

Re: Still Confuse about what nitrous shot

don't go above a 75 shot with out a new fuel pump. and for the 100 shot you going to need the pump, injectors, a good tune, and i would maybe think about going with 2 step cooler spark plugs

Re: Still Confuse about what nitrous shot

i was thinking with a wet shot their was no need for upgraded injectors. i know a fuel pump upgrade is recommended for 100 and higher. with a dry shot the maf tells the injectors to add more fuel. with a wet shot the extra fuel is added with the nitrous, so i wouldnt think the injectors would lean out.

Re: Still Confuse about what nitrous shot

i have the fuel pump already installed, tune from tsp, and spark plugs. so 85 shot would be safe...if i want to purchase injectors who sales them and for how much...its just i have no money all my money went to the car

Re: Still Confuse about what nitrous shot

you will not need bigger injectors with a wet shot. You are correct, they are needed for guys running dry shots.

so if there is no need to purchase injectors...then what shot is safe base on my performance parts..can i run 100,125, or 150?

i would say u could run up to a 125 but u would need to have ur car retuned for that shot. best would acutally be a dyno tune, but that can get expensive.
