50 shot would probly be the best for a stock 3.4l. 75 might be a little too much and wouldn't try it on my car.

they don't like me talking to to new guys about nitrous around here, but i have to tell you that it is possible that your 12+ year old motor may not take kindly to nitrous. they say that nitrous will find weakness in your motor. if your motor or fuel system is not in great shape, you may want to avoid nitrous.

Dont be silly Dole, everyone appreciates good information no matter who its coming from, just as long as it can be easily understood. :)

I dont know as much about the 3.4 as I do the 3.8, but from what I have read I wouldnt wouldnt go any higher than a 75 MAX. Dole has a good point about the age of the motor, but I want more info:

How many miles are on it? Has it been very well taken care of and maintained? How is it running now? If the answer to these questions is 'low miles and perfect' then I would go with a 50 shot and full bolt-ons, nothing more.

But remember, as Bob pointed out, its is 12 years old and if something is weak, nitrous will exploit it.

Re: How big of a dry shot on a stock 3.4

Well i dont have a camaro right now but i owned a 94 v6 from 1998-2002. It had some mods like cai, flowmaster, and venom 400.My camaro was fairly quick and a fun car so i am going to buy another one (soon i hope)how ever my last car was a 03 gt that ran 8.90's in the 8th so i would like the camaro to have a little get up and go....i know i know a mustang well my wife bought it for her self but didnt like it so i ended up driving it till we traded it in about 3 months ago.
Why not buy a z28 well INSURANCE nuf said. The gt eat us alive on insurance.
I do have some experience with nitrous not a lot but the reason i asked the 50 or 75 shot question was i didnt know how the 3.4 would take nitrous being every engine is different.
            thanks

The 3.4 is a little hoss bastard, I would say that a 50 shot should be good to start with. If a fitty shot exploits any weaknesses, then you know nitrous just won't do.

Most people don't end up paying that much more making the jump from 3.8/3.4 to Z/TA You should get a quote.
