  • got the itch, some help please?

ok,I've had this kit for a while now. I bought it from one of my buddies, he had it on a mustang gt spraying a 150 shot. I bought the kit and he tuned the solenoids down to about a 65 shot. Its a NX wet kit, with a 10lb bottle, quick release bottle brackets, and a bottle heater. My questions are these: I've seen nitrous installed both ways-in the intake and also drilled the throttle body. Which one do i do? Also there are two fuel lines under the hood running to the fuelrail, which one of these do i put the fuel-T to? and for my last question: my buddy had the kit hooked up so that when he wanted to spray all he had to do was hit the horn. i want to do the same, or is there a better/easier way? please help me guys and girls

wet kits go into the throttlebody just behind the MAF so you are not spraying the MAF

Use the schrader valve test port for your fuel supply, I t'd off those fuel lines you seen and it was a challange getting it not to leak.

For activation, have a WOT switch and also just have an activation switch to turn it on, don't try and rip into your horn wires, you will probably get way to confused and messed up. Keep it simple and you will soon be addicted

would it be too much to ask for pics of the t.b. install and also the fuel-T install? Also, how does a WOT switch actually work?

for 99 they had fly by wire. so for our cars we need a thing that plugs in between the throttle body and the wires from the throttle. Im not sure were to get one.
        And the pics you requested.

because you want the n2o to come on at the same time every time.
            manual activation is for Movies.
as for you line i dont think it will be a problem.

So what exactly do i need at the moment. just the WOT switch? if i were going to install a WOT switch how exactly would i do it?? My buddy sprayed it with a button, and he had no problem at all. i dont need the spray untill 2nd and 3rd gear anyway, im strong enough in first gear that i dont need it. its only in the mid to higher rpms that i need it. so what do i do............also im sorry you had an itch in your pants, perhaps you should let a doctor look at that.................

Dont do a push button setup. Why, you ask? Because if you hit the button between shifts or at too low of rpm....you will puddle the fuel, backfire out the intake which will cost you several hundred dollars and several hours of time that could have been prevented with a $5 switch. WOT switch is $5 insurace that takes out human error.

The switch can be mounted under your pedal.....or.....since you have the electric TB you can get a TPS switch (about $70).

ok thats what i was confused about, i was thinking i needed both. so i only need the WOT switch? So i would just wire the switch like any other switch?Along with an activation switch of course..... does anybody have pics of the fuel-T install?

I dont advise that you T off of a fuel line. I did that for my fuel pressure gauge and it was a NIGHTMARE to get it to stop leaking. Take it off the shrader valve on the fuel rail. Refer to pics here:

And yes, just wire the WOT just like any other switch.

You aren't going to feel anything under 100hp. My 00 V6 felt like a madman on a dry 150 shot. My opinion is to go dry whenever possible. Wet kits are a pain. Step up to some NGK TR6 plugs at least.
