The LT1 ECM was not a viable option without major changes since it is made for the optispark, among other things.
We have all 93's covered and the 94-95 manual PCMs the can be converted. I have found a TBI ECM that uses the 4t60e transmission, just need to mess around with it and see about modifying it for a port injected system.
We are also trying to iron out the air conditioning - as of right now I haven't been able to get the newer variable displacement compressors to work with the outputs of the older ECM, but will be testing some theories soon.
Cam, ported heads, tune on a 4th gen 'Bird, imagine that :D
I got a 3.4 head jobber in and will be reporting soon as to the gains in flow you got there, finally will be flowing them, but judging by the 3800 numbers we have seen on recent port jobs, you are probably just short of the early aluminum heads in gain.
John, if that's the case, then I got more than what i payed for lol.
Btw, for those who want to keep tabs on how the tuning is going...
Things are finally going great. Got the idle tuned with the fueling practiaclly "balls on" and now just need to get the rest of the fuel tables in order.
Then we can start tuning for.... POWER. Muahhaha.:D
I'll dyno later this spring/summer so we can all see what this setup is putting out.
