ok so i have a 96 A4 camaro with the bose sound system package, and the other day i went to put a cd in... and it just didn't work...it worked before but it just says... "ST error" on it... so, ill probably fiddle with it more later, but any quick off-the-top-of-your-head ideas?

same thing happened to my bros. Even the new ones didn't work. He just bought himself a new deck 2 days ago because he couldn't stand the cd player not taking any of his cd's!!Comment

yea... it won't read anything... MP3's, burned cd's, or storebought ones... :( i don't wanna have to get a new deck because then the volume will be twice as loud (something to do with resistance with bose and monsoon systems if i remeber right).. dangComment

In my old firebird I had alot of problems getting error, and it would make the cd's really hot and not play.
I upgraded to aftermarket and had no problems after that.

I’m new. I actually don’t own a Camaro or firebird. I do have a 2000 Camaro 3.8 fly by throttle and 4l60e. This is installed in a 1980 Triumph TR7...2 weeks ago -
